About This Item
Faber and Faber. First edition published by Faber and Faber in 1961. This is a very good copy. The George Adamson illustrated jacket is not price clipped displaying 10s 6d net. There is some light wear to the spine ends and the bottom edge of the back panel is creased. The illustrated boards have one pushed corner and gentle pushing to the top spine. The boards are a tad bowed. Overall a very good copy and rare as Ted Hughes has signed his name without dedication to the front free end paper. Ted Hughes third published works and first children's book. A collection of poetry about an imaginary eccentric family. George Adamson provides full page line drawings. . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1961.
