All copies are numbered and signed on the colophon by Pierre MICHON & by the artist.

Of a large format (30x40 cm), on a beautiful paper, and protected by an elegant slipcase. Thomas Ivernel composed his 6 etchings "in correspondence" of works of the writer Pierre Michon and in agreement with him.

The texts were composed by hand in the workshop of the typographer Michael Caine in Paris.

The engravings were printed by the "Ateliers Moret" workshop in Paris.

Pierre Michon who was on the last Nobel list and one of the favorite of the bookmakers just won the BNF prize for all his work.

Thomas Ivernel was born on October 3, 1970 into a family of actors. After studying at the Beaux-Arts, his career was marked by two trips to Mali in 1998 and 2001 and regular exhibitions. In the early 2000s, he began working on nocturnal scenes and shadows. Passionate about the dialogue between the book and the image, he gave an exhibition in 2013 at the fashion designer Agnès B where he experimented the technique of "paintings animated image by image" from which he drew the book Hypnotized which is notably part of the collection of artist's books of the Kandinsky Library of the Centre Pompidou.

The typographer, Michael Caine, is well known, and was notably highlighted in the book : Artists & Others: The Imaginative French Book in the 21st Century, Nijmegen : Vantilt Publishers, 2016. It's the catalog of an exhibition organized by the Koninklijke bibliotheek and the Grolier Club in New York (31 May-31 July 2016).

An original watercolor signed by Thomas IVERNEL from the series "Femme de dos" is added to each copy.
