Boston: Houghton, Mifflin & Co, 1916. Second Edition. . Hardback. Good. Second US edition, hardback bound in red cloth with gilt titling to spine. 18 × 13cm, xxii, 212pp. Signed and dedicated by Lewis Morse to the ffep, "To Jose Castillejo, in remembrance of our pleasant hours together in Boston, Lewis Kennedy Morse, June-July 1919". The recipient was a Spanish juror and pedagogue, and professor at Institución Libre de Enseñanza (the Spanish Free Insitute of Education). A selection from the poets to memorise arranged by 1. iambic movement, 2. trochaic movement, 3. anapaestic movement, 4. dactylic movement, and 5. poems of reverence. Poets include Wordsworth, Edgar Allan Poe, Coleridge, Tennyson etc. Condition: This copy is in very good condition, with some fading to the cloth spine.
