Internally, portrait frontis, [11], [1], [1], 4-56, [2], [1], 62-87 pp, [1], [134], 5 pls (including 1 portrait), small folio, label of E Lloyd, Rhagatt and a small oval stamp to fpd, hinges strengthened, text block edges uncut, some pencil notes, some light pl offsetting and spotting. Along with 2 loose files of modern research notes on Goodman. Uncommon! (Lowndes 912) NEWCOME, RICHARD, cleric. See NLW WBO. Goodman, (1528-1601), dean of Westminster Much as Goodman accomplished, greater things were prophesied for him: Arçangel yw'r enw o seiliaw Arç-esgob vydd ddydd à ddaw By name an archangel, an archbishop he will become. (Newcome, appx C) No archbishopric came to him; but he has his pallium in the affection and pride with which his memory is recalled in his native town. SEE ODNB. Dean of Westminster during forty years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth, the restorer of the wardenship of Ruthin; with Some Account of Ruthin School, and the names of its most eminent scholars, etc. Also of Godfrey Goodman, DD. Bishop of Glocester from the year 1624 to 2655, nephew of the above.

Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
