Welch's engraving of Peale's portrait of Harrison appears as the frontispiece. Biography of Harrison by the noted chronicler of the history of the West, with details regarding Harrison's activities as Secretary of the Northwest Territory, Governor of Indiana, interactions with the Indians, the Battle of Tippecanoe, and events of the War of 1812.
