John Murray, 1819. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Two Volumes complete. Half leather binding with marbled boards. Some damage to leather which is beginning to perish to the edges. Rubbed and chipped to corners and along edges. Gilt decoration and titles to spine with raised bands, volume I in particular has some loss of gilt to the spine due to rubbing. Some foxing to early and later pages with the inner text clear though pages edges have age toned. Owners name in pencil to ffep in both volumes. Top edge of title page to both volumes has been removed presumably to remove ownership details. binding secure and boards are fully attached . Please note additional postal charges will apply due to insurance charges The Memoirs of Napoleon in 1815, Please note the text in this work is in French
