Durvand Thivet binding of half blue cloth, and marbled boards, over original wraps. All original covers bound in. . All original paper covers preserved in the rebind. Vol 1 has Barriere's 46 page "sur la vie DE MADAME CAMPAN". Vol 3 with index for all. Original paperback books quite nice; scattered light foxing but no aging, soiling, marginalia, or any other kind of stain. All text blocks tend to stay closed when stood on their spines. Thivet rebinds with minor edgewear. Spine label gilt lettered "OEUVRES/ DE/ MADAME/ CAMPAN/ MEMOIRES/ VOL #". At spine center a gilt fleur de lis and "1826" at spine heel. .
