Large octavo, a limited edition 21/105, signed on the limitation page, with a pencil sketch by Horatio Walker tipped in at the front, attested to and signed on the rear by Walker's niece. Frontis plate of Laing and his father, book illustrated throughout with beautiful full color plates tipped in. Limited edition is lush merlot suede with gilded stamping, gilt title, gilt top and bottom edges in near fine condition. Cloth slipcase with the same gilt design plus a gilt border. Faintest hint of rubbing and fading on the box, the book itself is clean and tight. A beautiful collectors piece, and a wonderful look at the Canadian art scene in a very important period by one of its premier dealers. ; pencil; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 264 pages; Signed by Author .
