London: Osgood, McIlvaine, 1895. Hardcover. Near fine. 4 volumes. Edited and with an introduction by George Duruy. Translated by Charles E. Roche. Illustrated with seven portraits, two facsimiles and two plans. Bound in original half calf and cloth boards with two gilt stamped leather title labels on the spine, five raised bands, top edge gilt and marbled end papers. Minor wear at corners and spines, otherwise a fine set.
