Unmarked, firmly bound copies, each with a lithographed frontis with tissue protector, illustrations within, pages are clear and bright. Bound in grey cloth with paper title blocks on the spines. Top edges gilt, other edges rough-cut. Corners are sharp, title page printed in red and black. The 14 volumes consist of 'Memoirs of the Court of England. During the Stuarts, Including the Protectorate' (6 vols); 'Memoirs of the Court of England From the Revolution in 1688 to the Death of George the Second' (4 vols); 'Memoirs of the Pretenders and their Adherents' (3 vols); 'Literary and Historical Memorials of London' (1 vol).
