About This Item
London: Turnstile Press, 1949. First edition. Hardback. One slight bump at top of front cover, but otherwise VG. No DW. Pictorial board covers. No inscriptions. 143 pages. Just less than 5" by 7.5". An interesting autobiographical fragment from the writer many critics regard as France's finest novelist. The links with the creation of Le Rouge et le Noir are invaluable. .
