Hardback. 414pp. Memoirs from the English Lawyer, composed 1808-1810 but reflecting on his life in late eighteenth century London, Calcutta, Madras and Jamaica, etc. Edited by Roger Hudson with engravings by John Lawrence. Quarter bound in maroon cloth with black labels and gilt titles to spine. Very attractive paper covered boards with papers marbled by Ann Muir. Maps to endpapers. Black card slip case. Very clean and bright with minimal wear. Near fine copy in near fine slipcase. . Hard Cover. Third Printing.
