Bound in new red cloth covers w/original title piece re-applied. 1851. Each part contains full table of contents and appendix. (86 pp dedicated to Mary Washington) (162 pp cover Martha Washington) Plus 4 pages of Derby & Miller publisher ads. Dedicated to Mrs William H Seward. Appendix for Martha Washington is in five parts - notable additions from first printing.
Condition: Rebound with a likeness to the original. The title portion of the original spine piece has been re-applied as shown. The book had suffered a bit of damp as you can see in the pictures, but it is complete and in good condition for its age. One frontispiece of Martha Washington.
