Volume 1 contains 12 portraits including the frontispiece which depicts Napoleon I. Volume 2 contains 13 portraits or other illustrations including the frontispiece which depicts Empress Josephine. Volume 3 contains 13 portraits or other illustrations including the frontispiece which depicts Empress Marie Louise. Bound in full red polished calf with the title and decorations stamped in gilt. Top edge gilt. Marbled end papers. Partially unopened. Wear at heads and heels and extremities, front and rear boards of Volume 2 are separated, and one of the fold-out calenders at the rear of Volume 1 is torn, otherwise very good condition.
