Privately Printed. Very Good with No dust jacket as issued. 1930. First Edition. Rich medium brown full leather binding with gilt title to spine with floral motifs and raised bands. Mild edgewear. Corners and spine ends sharp. A long, faint hairline scratch to rear board, and trace soil. Brown silk moire eps and pastedowns. Simple inside dentelles of a linear double border and small floral motifs in gilt at each corner. Binding sound, interior free of marking and names, stickers and stamps. Edges of blank eps heavily toned. Contains three short bios of Charles Oscar Miller (1847-1919) , Charles O. Miller (1877-1923) , and Sara Hendrie Miller (1876-1923) . Title page in color, in an illuminated manuscript style. Illustrated with nine b/w plates with tissue guards (the latter with offsetting) , that are remarkably beautiful and are from photographs enhanced with engraved shading and details. A scarce and very attractive volume that would be a valuable addition to a descendant's family history collection. ; 8vo, hardcover, unpaginated. .
