A very slight trace of wear to book and jacket. Sticker on the front panel of the jacket from the Canada Council for the Arts stating this book was a Finalist in the Governor General's Literary Awards. A clean, tight copy. The author recounts his adventures with various waters from all over the world-the Arctic, South Pacific, Great Lakes, and India. 257 pages with Bibliography followed by several pages under the heading Books in the Life Writing Series Published by Wilfrid Laurier University Press. Signed by the author on the half-title page, which also has a gift inscription (different handwriting) to the book's previous owner. Illustrated with the author's artwork..
