NY: William Farquhar Payson. VG+. 1st American Edition. Hardcover. No date but 1931. First American edition bound in red cloth with gold lettering and decorations. Nine black & white half-tone illustrations. A VG+ copy in a Poor dust jacket. The book's covers are lightly rubbe d at the spine tips and corners. The endpapers are browned. Mild tanni ng to the pages. Contents is otherwise clean, tight & unmarked. The du st jacket's front panel was separated from the spine but has been re-a ttached with clear tape on its verso. Most of the spine is chipped awa y. Heavy rubbing to the folds. Dust soiling and tanning to the panels. The front panel has chips along its upper edge. Chips and wear to the rear panel. .
