Toronto: McClellan and Stewart, 1978. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. FIRST PRINTING of FIRST Canadian Edition. Original greenish gray boards, gilt lettering spine. SIGNED by the author on title page. Clean covers, light rubbing to bottom edges, solid binding, no foxing, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages (other than Marty's signature), tiny foxing spots top edge of text block, a few small brown spots on fore-edge and bottom edge. The dust jacket has rubbing and tiny flecking at corner tips, price-clipped front flap corner, no tears. The book measures 235mm tall x 149mm, and has 270 pages, EP maps. Anecdotes from the career of a Canadian warden in Banff, Jasper, & Yoho National park. Includes some climbing & rescues, often humorous depictions by this award-winning author and celebrated raconteur. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
