London: Macdonald & Co., 1958. Ex-libray copy. Publishers original red cloth with gilt lettering in illustrated dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is backed with brown paper which is attached to the turn-ins with adhesive, and the brown paper is glued to the pastedowns.Book and wrapper are both quite good with rubbing along the top and bottom edges, causing some errosion to the edges of the dustwrapper, mainly at the spine ends. There are signs of a book plate having been removed from the front free endpaper and a few numbers in biro on the front free endpaper and pastedown, one more number on the rear pastedown., no other stamps or marks the book being quite clean throughout.. First Edition.
