Not illustrated, several words highlighted on one page else clean, tight copy. Rare in the 1st Edition. very good Warren Felt Evans (1817-1889) was a follower of Phineas P. Quimby, founder of the New Thought Movement and the so-called Metaphysical Movement in America healing. Evans wasinstrumental in giving literary form to the new ideas and methods of cure, Mental Medicine" (1872) being his second book after "The Mental Cure" published in 1869. He opened in 1867, with his wife, an office in Boston and for more than twenty years practiced and taught informally the principles of mental healing. 1872
