NY: Stokes. FINE book, no DJ. FAE. AS NEW text, plates & tissue guards.. 1910. 1st American.. Hardcover. FINE book no DJ. TEG. Green cloth. Both cover lettering & cover vignette in bright gilt. 1st AM, same tp & cp dates, NAP. . Cover with two minor flaws. (1) front lower tip bumped. (2) spine ends scuffed. Both pastedown gutters lightly glue browned. No other aging, no foxing, soiling, marginalia, etc. All text block edges as bright as new. "Brentano's" ticket inside back cover. Frontis offset to previous leaf. No other plate with similar offset. Plates with captioned tissue guards, plates tipped onto leaves of a heavier stock. Last, book stays closed when stood on its spine. .
