Iliffe Books, London, 1962. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Poor. 560 pages (complete). In general muscular, good condition. The dustjacket is much worn, marked and torn. The covers are foxed. There is wear about all edges and corners. The spine of the dj has wear and closed tears to the head and foot. The cloth cover is stoic and resolute. It is good-looking. The edges have some very mild tanning. The spine has a small area of sunning at the foot. The print on the spine is fresh. The title page has a previous owner signature. The paper trims have much usage marking. The contents are neatly and subtly annotated throughout. The pages are sure, firm against the binding, clear, confident and assured. fk.
