Liverpool: Blake and Mackenzie, 1903. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Colored morocco, spectacular front board in the Mexican tricolor with gilt pictorial element in central white band. Marbled endpapers, gilt edges. Spine sunned to brown, back board a dark green like top band of front. Long disfiguring stain along edge of front board from bottom to middle. Top edge of front board is bumped at middle. Mild foxing on two blank pages at end. Numerous b and w photos and illustrations. A remarkable monument of the Porfiriato. Texts in English and Spanish and very scarce in this original printing and binding.
