Mexico City: Juan Pablos, 1956. Softcover. Good/good. Yellow wraps, 77 pages, 10 in tall, glassine dust jacket.. A collection of poems in Spanish illustrated with 13 photo portraits of various people. The poet's personalized inscription in Spanish on first blank. Included is a facsimile of a 1948 letter in English sent to Labarthe from George Santayana, with comments about Labarthe's 1944 book of poetry "Reclinatorio: Acetre y Corazon." Labarthe moved from his native Puerto Rico to New York to study at Columbia University. Rear wrap with brown spots (foxing), leaves are age toned. Glassine dust jacket has some paper loss at bottom edge. Good in a good dust jacket.
