Red cloth, faded at the spine, with gilt lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, foxed at the edges, former owner's stamp inside the front board, clean otherwise. Conan Doyle's collection of stories "concerned with the grotesque and the terrible." About Very Good. Blue boards, lightly bumped and pushed at the edges and corners. Square and firmly bound, gift inscription on the front endpaper, foxed throughout. Conan Doyle's historical adventure, coming-of-age novel about a young English man's time as a soldier of fortune during the Monmouth Rebellion.
