About This Item

New York: Knopf. "Mickelsson's Ghosts" is the last novel before Gardner's death in a motorcycle accident in 1982. First edition, first printing. About 6 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches, 589 pages bound in white cloth-covered boards with gold lettering on front board and spine. Dustjacket's graphic design in grey and white appears to be a gravestone rubbing. Lettering on dj is black, with small head-and-shoulders photo og author on back fold. Edges of dj and boards lightly soiled; mild foxing on text fore edge; and small remainder mark on text's bottom edge. No significant damage to book or dj. Some of Gardner's better known works include "The Sunlight Dialogues," "Grendel' and "October Light." . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1982.
