A detailed and very well-illustrated work covering all aspects of microscopes and their parts, including polarizing microscopes, micro-spectroscopes, drawing with the microscope, photographing, preserving specimens, etc, etc. This edition has a new chapter on ultra-violet radiation in microscopy.
