About This Item
Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1896. First American Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. Red half-leather over marbled paper boards, title in gilt to spine, 12mo (7inches tall), pp. 310, marbled endpapers, sewn headbands, bookbinders tag, "Relieur G.A. LaFrance, Quebec" at foot of front pastedown. Volume with slight fade to spine, edge wear and a few rubs to leather, p.o. name and date (1896) to 2nd fep and title page, text edges slightly toned. An at least very good copy in a beautifully crafted period binding. "Corelli's novels sold more copies than the combined sales of popular contemporaries, including Arthur Conan Doyle, H. G.
