This is the White Lion (UK) 1974 reprint of The Mighty Hood, the story of the Royal Navy's pride, HMS Hood, written by the British historian Ernle Bradford (1922-1986).

Hood was the last of the Leviathans, the fleet of British ships that ruled the seas. Known as one of the most graceful and powerful ships of her time, a generation of seamen had trained and/or sailed on her. When she went, it was the end of an era.


This copy is 224 pages, including photos, maps and diagrams. One dogear. The back jacket cover has a small tear that was taped.
Some darkening of the paper.

Otherwise perfect condition.
