1975. Hardcover. Acceptable. Catalog of the Exhibition in February-March 1975, in Paris, of the drawings of the famous Russian dissident artist Mihaïl Chemiakin (born in 1943 in Moscow), painter and sculptor, banned then rehabilitated. He is now considered one of the most important painters of the new Russian school. Collection of drawings, some in color, preceded by an introduction. âNo dust jacket (if there ever was one). Yellowed boards with representation of one of Chemiakin's drawings. Cracked hinge/joints. The laminate overlay on the boards has cracked and become fragile. Dented corner tips and to head and heel of spine strip. Yellowed text block. The leaves of the book are the type of paper used by artists. The off-white paper has darkened somewhat, and the blue pages have faded somewhat. Smyth sewn binding is still firm and no pages are loose. Just the cover has become a little ratty. Text in French with one page in Cyrillic. 79 pages.
