A reprint, with some additional material, of the author's "Fifteen Years of the Communist Party," which first appeared in 1934. During the 1940s and '50s, the U.S. government frequently harassed the Russian-born Bittelman (1890-1982) for his involvement with the Communist Party and attempted to deport him. In 1960, the Party expelled him after he criticized some of the Party's hardline positions.
DETAILS: 12mo (7 3/8 x 5 inches; 188 x 127 mm), 92, [4] pages in stapled, illustrated wrappers (soft cover).
