Hardcover, original brown cloth boards blindstamped with gilt design on spine. Exterior shows fading along edges along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Spine is chipping at edges and has a small dent in the center, rear board is cracked at the hinge at the top about an inch and 1/2. Interior binding is good, no hinge issues and text pages are secure. Foxing is present throughout some pages showing quite a bit, mainly around the end pages and pastedowns. A couple pages had corner folds which have been straightened out. No personal bookplates found but front pastedown has a very small mid 19th century bookstore label in the corner. Original owners name (Lawrence P. Bostnick ) is neatly penciled on the second end page. Book contains six maps which are hand colored in outline, all maps verified as being present.
