DJ front has a tear to the upper outer edge and a somewhat smaller one to the upper spine edge. Rear upper outer corner of DJ has a chip and a small creased tear. DJ has some slight edge wear. DJ has very slight water spots by the front title and by the rear spine edge. Pages in front have a slight vertical crease. ; Signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Included is a leaflet from the Scoville Manufacturing Company "We are pleased to present to you this autographed edition of The Mill On Mad River, a story of the struggles of an industrial infant which is now, 146 years later, the Scoville Manufacturing Company." .
