About This Item
Kent Town, Wakefield Press, 1995; Kent Town: Australians for Constitutional Monarchy and Wakefield Press, 1997. First Edition. Paperback. Kent Town, Wakefield Press, 1995; Kent Town, Australians for Constitutional Monarchy and Wakefield Press, 1997; and Carlton, Melbourne University Press, 2009. Three volumes, octavo (of differing heights); colour-pictorial paperbacks (the only bindings issued); trifling signs of use; excellent copies. All three volumes are inscribed and signed by the author (the 28th Prime Minister of Australia, from 18 September 2013 to 15 September 2015) to his editor and friend Christopher Pearson (1951-2013). The fulsome inscriptions are, respectively: 'To Christopher, without whom this could never have happened. Tony Abbott. 30/9/95'; 'To Christopher without whose help this could not have even been begun. Cheers Tony Abbott, 11/11/97'; and 'Christopher, This could not have happened - certainly not have happened so well - without you. To my co-author! Tony Abbott'. [3 items].
