Viking, 1943. First Edition. hardcover. Good/Fair. 8x5x1. Dust jacket wrapped- considerable wear to jacket with rubbing/chipping to the edges and folds, jacket price not clipped. Book and jacket are clean, has a good binding, has foxing to the edges of the text-block. "Dargan Jones New Orleans September 1946" written on front endpaper- no other marks or notations. Black cloth boards with light blue lettering on the front board, light blue and white lettering on the spine.
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904–1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
