Electrotyped and Printed for the State by the Pioneer Press Company, St. Paul, MN: ., 1899 pp. xi, 654. Large 8vo. 270 mm. Original half leather binding. Mildly XLib. Hardbound. Very Good. This Volume 2 (of 2) two contains the official reports and correspondence which form the documentry record detail of the battles, campaigns, expeditions, etc. in both the Civil War and the Indian Wars. The Indian War information is rarely encountered. This volume bears an inscription: 'Compliments of C.J. Humanson, Civil War Record Clerk, St. Paul, Minn. May 20, 1911.' He was the Adjutant General's Office Clerk who compiled the lists of volunteers that appeared in the first volume of this important work. OVERSIZE 5/6 / YORK HS. Hardcover.
