Very large book, tan cloth spine, green cloth boards, gilt very bright on spine, medieval illustration on title page and frontispiece in light green, 179 art illustrations with quotations from Chaucer's work and explanation. DJ front and back has light green border with detailed illustration of medieval city scene, ad for two related books on back. DJ has very slight wear at top front tip, light wear to bottom tip, very slight wear to top front bookfold edge, small v-chip, tiny tear and nicks with crease at top front edge, micronicks with slight wear at spine top edge, wear at spine bottom edge, very tiny tear at top back edge, very tiny nick at bottom back spine indentation. Near Good DJ/Fine book.
