New York: Greenberg, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First edition, first printing, third issue. After the original publisher went bankrupt, sheets were transferred to Harcourt, Brace and Company, who later sent remaindered sheets to Greenberg. Bound in original gray-beige cloth stamped in blue. Very Good with lean to binding, foxing to textblock edge, offsetting to endsheets and pages toned. In a Very Good dust jacket with Greenberg imprint, corners appear machine-clipped with no price visible; edge tears, chipping and rubbing.
Synopsis
Miss Lonelyhearts, published in 1933, is Nathanael West's second novel. It is an Expressionist black comedy set in New York City during the Great Depression.
