Tours, France: Maison Mame, 1946. Leather boards are a natural tan colour. Front board has a beautiful embossed design of four mythological animals which the seller believes to represent the Four Gospels. Spine has five bands and gilt title (Paroissien Explique) somewhat faded. Spine also has sunning and rubbing, and a tiny hole slightly larger than a pin prick on the lower edge of one band. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Green ribbon marker. Interior tight and unmarked. 1021 pages. This book is written IN FRENCH and is without English translation.. Sixteenth. Full Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
