In essence, the first biography of the ex-President. A fine, readable, accessible hagiography of the Man From Missouri, U.S. President Harry S. Truman. Ex-library copy, with usual signs thereof, but still attractive. Flexible black leatherette covers, pebbly, tape-reinforced gutter at frontis, else clean, tightly bound, and unmarked. Complete with Index. Some tape-repaired pages. Stated First Edition, with a fine black-and-white portrait of Truman at frontis. 164 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
