Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1943. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1943. Second Printing. 420 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Black cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Contains black and white photographic plates throughout. College stamps to front free endpaper and pastedown. Pages & plates remain bright with minimal tanning. Text is clear. Pencil inscription to front paste down. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. White stains to front and rear boards. Slight tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Water marks overall. Small splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a slight forward lean.
