Auguste Königer (b. 1893), known as Gustel Königer, was a German artist whose work appears in a number of works published around 1920 in Europe. She may also be the woman by that name who was photographed in 1909 by American photographer Frank Eugene, one of the founders of the Photo-Secession (he had moved to Germany permanently in 1906). Nothing else has been discovered about her. The signed limited editions printed by Dreiangeldruck are very scarce. In Near Fine- Condition: minor loss at head of each spine; otherwise, clean and bright.
