Princeton: Published for the Department of Art and Archaeology of Princeton University [by] Princeton University Press, 1931.. Quarto. Original decorated glazed paper over boards (after a design by Wright). Portrait. Typographic endsheets (again after a design by Wright). Boards slightly splayed and somewhat darkened and rubbed at edges, neat private bookplate on pastedown, but a near very good copy of this fragile book. First edition, issued as one of the Princeton Monographs on Art and Archaeology. This copy is inscribed by Wright on the verso of the portrait: "To Rudolph - Frank Lloyd Wright." The text consists of the six lectures Wright delivered in 1930, attended by a preface by E. Baldwin Smith. SWEENEY 250.
