New York: Wittenborn Schultz, 1951. soft cover. cover is intact, though shows some wear to spine and edges. there are 2-3 minute markings to margin of one text - minor impact. small wittenborn label to verso of rear cover. always nice to see that no losses to cover, no bumps or tears, just surface wear. sturdy sewn binding.; 198pp., color cover by motherwell. b/w illustrations throughout. this was a modern art wrap-up of the american art scene of 1949 and 1950. it is packed with documentation, transcripts of artist discussions, lists of gallery shows, museum acquisitions, various features, and more.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good Minus. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
