About This Item

N.A.G. Press Ltd., London, U.K., 1943. Second Edition, Reprint 1943.. Hardcover.. Fine/VG. 8 1/8 x 5 1/4 x 3/4.. Book FINE/ Dust jacket Very Good. Boards and spine are red looks like leather, gilt lettering. Dust jacket is plain except for title etc. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, is cream with blue letters. Dust jacket has minor edge wear, has a few tears largest is 1/2 inch, two chips with paper missing largest is 3/8 inch x 1/4 inch, and because paper is cream, the dust jacket shows mild marks from adjacent book on shelf, and spine is age darkened. Cover boards and spine are clean, flat, no shelf wear on edges but lower corner tips are bent a bit, minor creases at top and bottom of spine, no spine crease, something has lightened the colour of the back cover a bit, in splotches along spine but cover is intact, flat, not warped, not otherwise marked, just lightened. Page edges are clean, crisp. Inside has been over-opened a bit at page 34 and 46 but binding is not broken, no pages loose or missing. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, looks gently read or unread. Very interesting and fun to read black/white plates in front of book advertising clock restorers and makers. 201 incredibly clear Black/white illustrations. Index. Introduction. My photo makes the dust jacket look darker than it really is.

WILLOWBAY BOOKS

THERE IS NO COVID-19 IN MY STORE AND MY SALES ARE ONLINE ONLY. IMPORTANT NOTE RE POSTAGE: I love books and most of my books are NEW or LIKE NEW. I'm very careful in describing my books accurately and I've done so to the best of my ability using the IOBA Book Condition guidelines. All items are from a smoke-free, clean, dry environment. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office. Thanks for your understanding. I will always email you with the date your package was shipped, and shipping method used.

I'm sure you'll enjoy looking through my books, and purchasing from WILLOWBAY BOOKS. Thanks. Ms. Bronwen Kathy Williams, Ontario, Canada.
