Hardcover. Red boards soiled, rubbed and shelfworn, with wear along all edges, spine ends worn and frayed, and edge points bumped and worn to boards. The rear board has an inch long gouge to upper third, and edges of spine strip are quite worn. Page edges soiled. Internally, end-pages are age-toned but free of previous owners marks or signatures, with light foxing scattered across the first several pages but otherwise pages are clean. The binding is holding, but cracked at pp.46/47 with the rear hinge cracked and front started. Overall, a good copy.
