About This Item

NY: Frederick Keppel & Co, 1888. Paperback. Good- (Wraps are detached; dampstaining at lower left corner, about 1/4 inch; textblock edges are lightly worn/toned/scuffed; interior is lightly toned and foxed.). Beige wraps. 19 pp. 2 bw plates. An 1888 reprint of the article from 'Art Review,' which precedes an appended 'chapter of an elementary character' entitled 'What Etchings Are,' meant to explain the process of etching before the actual Rembrandt article is read. Interesting.
