The author affirms that there is no conflict between the assured results of scientific discovery and Bible teaching. The first part of the book is concerned with the various theories of the origin of the universe and of man. Interesting biological material is introduced followed by a chapter devoted to 'The Bible and Modern Medical Knowledge'. There is a section discussing recent archaeological discoveries and its relation to both the Old and New Testaments. Second Edition, revised, May 1949.
Almost like new! NO marks! All pages are intact, not marred by notes, underlining or highlighting. Personal gift greeting on FEP. The pages have aged with time. The spine is undamaged & the binding is tight, as unused. Nice original title-blocked green cloth covers with minimal wear and still bright gilt on spine; very legible! NOT Ex-library!
