Here is an EXCEEDINGLY RARE and collectible SIGNED copy of Wilbur Smith's novel MONSOON
SIGNED & DATED PRESENTATION COPY of the first printing of the Macmillan first British edition Wilbur presented this as a gift to very close friends of his, David and Nel Davies, in Cape Town, South Africa.
The following is from their grandson:
"David and Nel (Nellie) were my grandparents who were good friends with Wilbur and his wife [Danielle]. My grandfather was a plastic surgeon and my grandmother was a nurse. My grandmother looked after Danielle when she fell ill as a favor to her and Wilbur....all the books were gifts to my grandparents over the years of friendship."
ONE-OF-A-KIND - signed just "Wilbur"
This book (canted) and its dust jacket show signs of wear, use, toning, and having lived in humid Cape Town.
I have 6 other books also presented as gifts to David and Nel.
A must for the serious collector.

Simple buyer remorse warrants a return of book(s) within 30 days of purchase, but then only the cost of the book will be refunded (postage costs both ways are NOT refundable) provided the book(s) is received by me within 30 days of the buyer receiving it, and provided the book(s) is returned to me in the same condition in which I dispatched it. If I have accidentally grossly misrepresented the book(s), then I will allow a return, and will cover return postage costs and issue a full refund, to include original postage costs. I will not be held responsible for book(s) damaged during shipment if a buyer does NOT procure insurance against such damage.
