(xxx), 410, (vi); (xii), 433, (1) pp. Publisher's boards, gilt lettered to the upper covers, dust jackets, matching slipcase, inscribed by the author on the half title and with a letter from him presenting this set - "one of the first batch" - and soliciting the recipient's views on the work. Profusely illustrated with black and white photographs. Some trivial wear to the edges of the dust jackets and the slipcase, a very good set.
